Total Body Wellness From The Inside Out - Get Radiant With QiGong

The one thing I know without a doubt is that you can’t achieve total body wellness if you are still holding on to things that no longer work for you. Things that don’t serve you anymore. Yes…those things may have worked for you in the past. Yes…it may be comforting to hold on to them still. It’s scary out there when you try and change. Especially if no one else is going for the ride but you. But trust me, it’s worth the ride. This is why I love talking about Qigong and Deep Breathing so much.

It’s like this…with deep breathing you are almost FORCED to let go of the negative. I also find that with Qigong, at least for me personally, it’s all about radiance, light, love, energy, healing, and strength. Those things cannot survive in an environment of negativity and dark thoughts. With Qigong it’s hard to hold on to things that impact you in a negative way because when you expel that negative energy through Qigong movement and breathing, you expel those thoughts and negative patterns right along with it. And you bring back to YOU everything that is good, strong, loving, and healing. You bring back to you your own positive energy. This is what lifts your spirits and gives you energy, drive, passion, light, love and…..Radiance!

When I practice deep breathing exercises I am forced to let go of whatever caused me stress and anxiety during the day. I find it impossible to feel the same way I did before I started the deep breathing exercise. Why? It’s not rocket science, I promise you. Because when you breathe deep and expel the toxic air you are also elevating your mood. How? By pumping endorphins (The feel good hormone) into your blood. I like to call endorphins the “Happy” hormone. Endorphins have a tranquilizing effect on your body and also have pain relieving properties. Endorphins relieve stress and also have an energizing effect on your body.

Thats why after a vigorous workout (of which you do a LOT of deep breathing) you energy level skyrockets. So imagine this…you can feel good Every Day…by simply practicing 5 minutes of intense deep breathing. Think about it….5 minutes!
