Mission Statement

MY MISSION IS TO TEACH WOMEN THAT THEY HAVE THE POWER TO HEAL THEMSELVES USING DEEP BREATHING TECHNIQUES, QI GONG MOVEMENT, AND PILATES. I BELIEVE THAT WE ALL HAVE THE POWER TO HEAL OURSELVES ON ALL LEVELS. MENTALLY, SPIRITUALLY, PHYSICALLY, AND EMOTIONALLY, ONE BREATH, ONE MOVE, ONE MUSCLE AT A TIME. I BELIEVE THAT DEEP BREATHING PRACTICED REGULARLY, AND QI GONG, BECAUSE OF THIER SELF HEALING BENEFITS AND ENERGY GENERATING MOVEMENT BUILDS US PHYSICALLY AS WELL AS SPIRITUALLY AND EMOTIONALLY BECAUSE WHEN YOU PRACTICE THESE TWO ELEMENTS, YOU NOT ONLY PRACTICE ON THE MENTAL AND PHYSICAL LEVEL, YOU PRACTICE ON THE SPIRITUAL LEVEL. PILATES WITH IT'S MIND-BODY FOCUS BRINGS BOTH ELEMENTS TOGETHER AND PROVIDES A FEELING OF STRENGTH AND WELL BEING.

 

WOMEN CAN BE RELIEVED OF MANY OF THE SYMPTOMS OF MENOPAUSE (INCLUDING WEIGHT GAIN!), STRESS AND ANXIETY. MY OVERALL GOAL IS TO HELP WOMEN UNDERSTAND THE LINK BETWEEN THESE THREE ENERGY ELEMENTS AND HOW DIET PLAYS A BIG ROLE IN THIER OVERALL HEALTH & WELL BEING ESPECIALLY DURING MENOPAUSE. BREATHING FOR CALMING AND HEALING, QI GONG FOR ENERGY, CLEANSING AND HEALING (INTERNALLY AND SPIRITUALLY), AND PILATES FOR STRENGTH, BALANCE, AND ENDURANCE. ALL THREE ELEMENTS COMBINED EQUAL A DYNAMIC BALANCE OF MIND, BODY, AND SPIRIT.

What I Believe 

 

Deep breathing is the easiest and most available internal cleansing and healing mechanism we have.

 

Stress, unhealthy lifestyles, injuries, major surgeries, medications, and unhealthy food rob us of our human life energy stores. Qi Gong is a technique that in its’ simplicity, helps us regain the lost energy, and reverses the shortage, making it possible to feel normal, healthy, and energized again.

 

Pilates is the one form of exercise that actually gives one a mental boost as well as a physical booth. In Pilates, you have to be aware of your own body. This includes movement, placement, the way your body feels during a movement, and after, and how you feel after completing a Pilates session.
